We learn about God's holiness. "For you are a people holy to the Lord your God..." (Deuteronomy 14:2). God desires a people set apart, reflecting his own character.
Christological Connection
While not explicitly named, Jesus fulfills the concept of being the ultimate holy offering and the one who enables us to be holy. He is the perfect sacrifice. "For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." (2 Corinthians 5:21)
Systematic Theology

Law & Grace
The laws given here represent God's standard and expectations (law). But they also reveal God's grace in providing guidance for his people to live in covenant relationship with him. He cares about their well-being. Grace enables us to keep the law. "For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace." (Romans 6:14)
Personal Application
By seeking to live a life that reflects God's holiness in all areas, from what we consume to how we treat others. "As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, 'You shall be holy, for I am holy.'" (1 Peter 1:14-16)
