Theological Analysis

What we learn about God

God the Father sustains His Son through the Holy Spirit and ministers to Him through angels after His period of intense testing.

Christological Connection

Jesus is the sinless Son of God, the ultimate conqueror of Satan, and the light shining in the darkness to inaugurate the kingdom of heaven.

Systematic Theology

Christology and Spiritual Warfare. Jesus is fully human (experiencing hunger and temptation) yet fully divine (sinless and authoritative).
