Revelation 21

What do we learn about God?
God reveals Himself as the sovereign Renewer of all creation, actively making "all things new" and establishing His perfect dwelling with humanity. "And He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new."" - Revelation 21:5. He is also the source of ultimate comfort, wiping away every tear and eliminating all sorrow for His redeemed.
How is Christ Connected?
Jesus is explicitly identified as "the Lamb," who is the very light of the New Jerusalem, illuminating it with God's glory. "And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb." - Revelation 21:23. He is also the keeper of the "book of life" (Revelation 21:27), through whom access to the eternal city is granted.
